Crazy for sure!!! Corner store prices of regular organic milk are actually making the WholeFoods 365 brand of organic milk look like a real deal!

Initially I was posted this picture thinking how funny it was the label read “dairy” on it. But you weren’t the first to comment on the seemingly high price of soy milk, especially compared to cow milk. So it struck me to go back to the same store I bought it from and compare! Keep in mind everyone I’m now living in super expensive NYC and I bought this on the Upper West Side (translation = expensive area). I found for the same half gallon size:
Organic Horizon: 4.99 for all varieties
      Stoneyfield: 5.39
      Organic Valley: 5.39
      Farmland Dairies: 2.69

Those were all the brands the offered, so the silk soy milk is competitive with those prices here.

Soy is so common as a dairy substitute it has now actually crossed over as being thought of as a dairy product. Who knew… Don’t eat too much soy! No bueno. Fermented es mejor!
